Snappy Sentiments
The primary objective of this project was to explore the relationships between design elements such as sequencing, eye flow, and color coding in the format of a trifold brochure. This involved delving into how typography and imagery can be correlated to enhance visual communication. Additionally, the project aimed to investigate user experience factors like hands-on interaction, timing, and pacing through the design process, ultimately enhancing message-making and storytelling through careful design decisions.

Graphic Design
Challenge
The primary challenge was to design a compelling tri-fold brochure comparing my personality traits with another object/thing. I wanted the brochure to serve as an example of how design can be used to tell personal stories in a creative and engaging way.

Process
The design process involved experimenting with various fonts and color palettes that would best convey the intended message, resulting in a playful yet informative trifold brochure that effectively communicates the my self-comparison to a Venus flytrap. The objective was to create a trifold brochure that connects my personal traits with those of a Venus flytrap, emphasizing our similarities and differences. This required a thoughtful examination of personality traits, physical attributes, and efficiency factors that we both share.
The project began with brainstorming and listing 40 different entities to compare personal traits against, culminating in the selection of the Venus flytrap as a metaphorical representation of the designer's personality and attributes. Key aspects focused on were three main personality traits, physical attributes, and additional unique qualities that align with the nature of a Venus flytrap.

The ones I chose were :
Personality Traits:
- Quickly reacts to external stimuli, demonstrating a sharp and immediate understanding of surroundings.
- Choosy about what it engages with, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and beneficial.
- Calm unless provoked, Peaceful until provoked, then bites!
Physical Attributes:
- Stands out visually with a unique and memorable form, making a strong first impression.
- Manages to maintain a small but impactful presence, efficiently utilizing space.
- Capable of thriving in less than ideal conditions, showing toughness and durability.
Miscellaneous Factors:
- Efficiency in Energy Use: The plant will only close its trap if the potential prey triggers the sensory hairs twice within about 20 seconds, ensuring that it expends energy only on live, moving prey. Furthermore, if the caught prey does not continue to stimulate the trap, indicating it might be too small or not nutritious enough, the trap reopens, saving energy for more suitable prey.
- Likes snacking - Draws others in with a fascinating and compelling allure that piques curiosity and invites closer inspection.

Conclusion
The final product is a vibrantly designed trifold brochure which narrates the unique relationship between me and a Venus flytrap. It highlights the shared traits and characteristics in a visually striking manner, ensuring that the brochure is not only informative but also visually captivating and compelling.
